2 types of ushio 10k ???

i am looking for the best price for 2 ushio 250watt 10k se bulbs
most sites on rc are 79.99 but on ebay they are 67.99 each
but when i looked at the pic of the bulb from the ebay site it looks different and cheaply made but they both say that they are ushio
is there a cheaper version that ebay sellers get or ar they lying about what name the bulb is

I don't think those are the "actual" pics of the bulbs.

well i know the first one is because i have a old ushio and it looks exactly like the one form marine depot

You might want to ask for a model number on that second one. The first one is most likely a HQI bulb (no probe starter inside the bulb from the pic, although you should check that too). The Ushios do come in HQI and 'CWA' though, or rather, built to a cheaper US spec for the probe start ballasts we still have here more than in the rest of the world which has adopted the higher pulse-start spec. That second pic is a probe-start bulb from the pic, but that may not be the right pic.

2nd pic looks like a generic pic. I would ask for the model number off the actual bulb. I Bought a couple 175 Ushios off ebay and they looked like the 1st pic when I got them. Work perfectly.
