New Bulb Acclimation

I am about to switch from XM15K bulbs to Reeflux 12K and know that there will be a huge increase in par and was wondering if my corals would get burned, and how is the best way to acclimate the tank to the new bulbs?

You have a couple of options, just use which ever one will be easiest for you.

1) Raise the lights,
2) Cut the photo period down
3) put some window screening over the tank

Just to expand on what Todd said, if you go the window screen route (I've done this-just go to home depot and get a roll), cut 7 pieces as long as your tank and lay all of them over your tank. Every day or two, remove one screen. After a week, your corals should be acclimated.
