coral propagation and lighting.

Hi guys, I have built a frag rack in my sump but my sump lighting is on 24/7, Will this affect the corals in a negative or positive way?

Thanks Dave.

imo, corals need some time to rest. mostly all my corals look a bit different when the lights go out, there polyps extend more.

ya corals do need time to rest but you can keep the lighting on 12 hours a day or more with no affect
