no skinmate?
for two weeks now i have had an ASM mini g skimmer running non stop in my sump. tons of bubbles right up to the neck. tank has been going for about two months now. two damsels and a handful of hermits and snails. i figure something should be getting pulled out of the water...

What depth are you running the skimmer in? Also, does your sump's water level change a lot on a daily basis?

water depth is 7 inches, sump level always with in 1/2 inch....

That's a very small bio load. Could it be that there's nothing to pull out?
