moving fish to 75 temporarly

Ok i have a 75 gallon reef right now. I have a purple tang 3 cardinals on algae blenny a mandarin goby and two clowns. I am setting up a bigger tank and it should be ready in a couple of days. I ordered online a orange shoulder tang a naso tang and a 4 anthias and a butterfly fish. Will all these fish be ok in the 75 gallon tank for a couple of days? Or should i just set up another tank with a power filter for a couple of days to hold the new ones?

Whoa, that's some intense fish load for a tank that's not even set up yet. What size tank are you establishing, and how soon will it be ready (including any potential cycle upon initially setting it up)? Those are some very high metabolism fish, I'd probably set up something else than the 75 if you've got it (though it'd have to be easily as large).

It is going to be a 180 gallon tank I know it is on the border line for big enough for the fish but if the naso or orange shoulder get to big i will sell them. there will be no cycle and it should be ready tomorrow.

How are you keeping it from cycling? Just an upgrade?

75+75=150 so it would be more like a 50% + waterchange. there probably won't be much of a cycle, but it is still a big jump..... and thats even if you use all of the water. normally you get down to the last 10-20 gallons and its black from detritus, poop and whatever else is down there. if i were you i would get a friend or someone to hold the fish for you until you are absolutely sure it is ready.
