Bubble mouth question (with pics)

I just got my show size red bubble about a week ago and it seems to be doing great.

As per my research, I placed in on the bottom of the tank under a little ledge (I run 250W 14K MHs). And I made sure that it has adequate, but not too strong of flow (so I think).

I just had a question about the HUGE mouth that it has on one of the heads. I was wondering first if this is normal or if this indicates some kind of problem or stress? Too much flow, light, or something else?

And if it is normal, should I try & feed it some krill or meaty food?

Not positive but I would say maybe feed it, it doesn't look unhappy at all so perhaps it's just hungry. I feed mine mysis usually, I would wait on larger food like krill until it's been in the tank longer.

I noticed similar behavior on my 4" bubble being able to see the mouth, But it seems to occur when I feed my fish.
