Mounting tabs
Can anybody tell me where to get new mounting tabs from? I called the service number a while ago and was told you do not stock them and that I can get them from Home Depot etc. I tried HD, Lowes and Ace and none of them have anything with a sticky back.
I have a new tank and will be moving my Vortechs over and these things are obviously not reusable. Anybody know where I can get some? Thanks. |

Are you referring to the cord holders? They have them at both my local Lowes and HomeDepot. They will be in one of two places, by the bonding agents and zip ties (typically a section dedicated to glues), or by the home networking/audio section.

You can reuse the cord holders, you can buy the backing at Walmart , it comes on a roll and it only cost about $3

That makes sense as well Raven63630. I assume you mean removing the tape and using two sided tape on the old plastic piece.

Yes, the cord holders. I brought it with me and they couldnt find anything like it by me....They had other cable organizers and the clips with nails for coax/CAT 5 cables but nothing with a sticky back.
I guess I will get some double sided foam tape and just reuse them. Thanks for your help. |

They are at every Lowes or Home Depot that I've been in the same aisle as the electrical cables and wires. They're called wire tie mounts. As said above, another option is to remove the adhesive and apply new adhesive. I recommend 3M brand if you want seriously strong.
