I have two 3's and my in-flow for my 90g and they work great. I think 4's would be too much and anything less wouldn't be quite enough.

i have 1x1, 2x2s 1 tunze 6025, 2 maxi jet 1200s and a 960 gallon per hour return and im still finding dead spots, i have to keep adjusting 1 or 2, its suprising how much flow can be needed, id suggest starting with a 3 each side of the tank and see how it goes, if you want more then get anothe 2 or something like it, if your really unsure try 2 2s then add another later, its difficult to really answer you correctly as we have no info at all about your set up except its 90 gallon, so heres some questions for you
[1] what are you planning on doing reef or fowlr [2] if reef what type of corals [3] even though a 90, what actual size is the tank in inches [4] have you got a sump with return pump [5] whats your long term ambishions with this tank with these questions answered it will be a lot easier to advise you on what flow you need and then what power heads you need it may be that koralias wont be best for you, we just dont know do we welcome to RC by the way, nice to have you on board

I have 3 K3s in my 90 and that is plenty, along with the return flow. Plenty of turbulent flow and several pockets where my fish have to swim hard against the current.
