New Radium bulb???
I just received a supposedly brand new Radium bulb in an order I placed. I went to install it today and it looks like it has already been fired up previously. Do they usually look this way? This is my first Radium bulb. Thanks.

I use radiums and it seems as if it looks fired up? Unless they test them to insure they work, which I highly doubt that.

I have a brand new Radium sitting right here next to me... doesn't look fired up. Doesn't look anything like yours.
Mine looks brand spankin' new. HTH.

I have four Radium bulbs sitting in my garage and they all have three months use on them. They are crystal clear. I can not remember how they looked when I first got them. But that coloration does not look like a brand new bulb. Maybe someone can post a pic of a new bulb???

looks new to me. Perhaps a test fire or that discoloration is the way they manufacture the bulb. If it was used any more there would be a cloudy puddle on the inner envelope.
