feeding polyp coral

yesterday i took a tweezers and some M shrimp and individually fed some of my yellow zoos, green mouthed buttons and this whitish green plate or cup coral. is this a bad thing to do?

i feed mine once a week or so... they seem to like it but i dont think its mandatory they get fed by hand. i just throw the dog a bone...
