Best Low/No Phosphate Fish Foods?
What are the best flake/frozen/prepared foods that have no phosphates... and the fish thrive on?

As long as you are feeding your fish with a product that has been derived from another living thing, there are going to be phosphates in there. Your fish need phosphates too. Your best bet is to rinse frozen food well and avoid overfeeding.
Good luck,

thanks Clay... I'm aware there are procedures and precautions to take, but I've also heard there are some foods to avoid and others to look for... trying to get an idea of which foods are preferable.

I fed flake Cyclopeeze to my 20 nano for a couple of years and had great results. Give it a try!

Clay is right. Phosphate is in all foods, but quality foods have more nutritional value per unit of phosphate they contain. Judicious feeding and rinsing/decanting frozen food can reduce the gross pollution from it, but it's more of an issue of using a quality food so you get more nutritional value from the unavoidable inputs of Phosphate feeding involves.
It's like the issue of power consumption and lighting. All lights require electricity, but there's a big difference between the quality of light from a 150W metal halide bulb and a 150W incandescent bulb.
