Royal Gramma&Fire goby
What is the recommended acclimation time for these two guys? They will be the first inhabitants of my tank.
Thanks.

If you have the space you should quarintine new fish for a month. Take a paice of airline tubing, start a syphon with it then tie a knot to control the flow. Get it down to a drip and place it in a container with the fish and some of the water they were purchased in. The container will fill and you can discard the water to make more room for new water coming in. After about 45 min- an hour you should be ok.

drip method is best, nice and slow. i bypassed the knots and just use an air valve. works the same and easier to control. but quaratining first is best.

Use only plastic air valve: salt water aggressively dissolves metals into the water.
If you pre-set your quarantine tank salinity to match that of your local fish store, you can shorten acclimation time considerably. You then, during the quarantine, over a period of weeks, adjust the salinity to match your tank.
