Keep up with the water changes and you should be fine.

Sure thing.
Luckily vinegar isn't too bad, compared to say bleach or battery acid. ![]() As i see it the 2 main concerns would be a sudden drop in pH, and a bacterial bloom as the bacteria break down the vinegar. WCs and time will help both of these. Did you happen to chek the pH when it happened? Any cloudiness to the water now? As a happy aside., it may also have the effect of drastically reducing your N03s and PO4s. ![]()

What size tank? The vinegar will just drop the ph. So keep an eye on it.

![]() The bacteria (the whiteness in the water) is consuming Oxygen (as it consumes the vinegar). Make sure your skimmer is running well, and try to increase surface agitation. Keep an eye on all fish for breathing (gill) problems, esp. Tangs/angels. And do the biggest water change you can.

Watch your salinity if your skimmer is pulling out a lot of water.

yeah, 1/2 gallon in 195 is not a total disaster. Keep the skimmer running, do water changes and add use baking soda to gradually correct any alkalinity drops. Good thing is you'll probably have zero nitrate once it's all said and done.
