bluewave ballast quetions?????

I just got my bluewave 7 hqi ballast from aquacave a few days ago, and I noticed that it didnt come with a power switch on it. The instruction manual said that it may or may not have it. Anyways my question is for those of you that dont have a switch on your ballast, how do you turn it on and off? do you just unplug it? or did you rig up some sort of switch for it or possibly use a controller? pictures would help out a lot too. thanks for looking.

in the mean time I also received my lumen max elites and still waiting for my radiums to come in so this should be a pretty killer setup. also pictures of how people mounted their reflectors would also help as Im in the process of fabricating a frame for these lights.

I have the IceCap MH ballast which are couple years old (blue) and they don't have switches either. I use an ACIII w/ DC8 and they work great.

If you're planning on getting a controller know might be a good time. ACJr + DC8 are fairly cheap considering their capabilities.

what do those usually come with? and how much is fairly cheap? I havent really gotten around to getting a controller yet because I dont have that many things that need to be controlled. . . well not yet anyways.

$200+ but for what they do, it's really worth it. I have my reefkeeper set to turn off my lights(and other hardware) if the tank gets too hot. It's also my wavemaker running 3 powerheads. and some other stuff.

thats pretty reasonable. but I might have to put it on hold for a while as I just purchased my lighting parts-minus building supplies. for now i think i just have to plug/unplug it. well if anyone was wondering what the radiums/hqi ballast and lumenmax elites look like, stay tuned, it should be up and running within a week or so.
