What's Wrong With My Mushrooms?

My mushrooms aren't opening fully anymore, they are kind of scrunched up and ugly looking. I have no idea why they are doing this, but if you have any ideas as to why my mushrooms would be doing this. I've had them for about two months and they have never done this and I haven't done anything differently. Could it be because there is too much calcium in the water since I put calcium supplements in?

Get a calcium test kit. Are you dosing your tank with supplement such as iodine and magnesium? My shroons usually tell me when my iodine level are low by not fully opening. Also, check your parameter.

you might also want to check your temp. in your tank......when it gets to warm they will shrivel.

yes, you should keep the calcium low and maintain alkalinity levels 10-13 dkh. regular iodide supplements helps too.

What are your parameters? My mushrooms let me know real quick if my kh gets low.
