Dead Coralline Algae

Hi,
I am giving up the hobby and have sold my lighting and creatures, but not the rock. The rock has turned white due to coralline algae die-off. Once exposed to light again will the coralline come back? Thanks

I love saltwater creatures, but don't love the work involved. Shame!
If the coralline won't come back, will the white eventually disappear?
Thanks.

It'll be covered by new coraline algae if put back in the right tank conditions. If you keep the rock out of a saltwater it'll remain white forever because it's calcium carbonate.

Once put back in a tank with light the coraline will come back.
