Getting back into the hobby: Thoughts on Aquapod 24g w/ HQI
Looking to slowly get back into the hooby. The last tank ended up going downhill fast due to too many fish in a 10g tank, no skimmer and losing interest fast due to the failing tank. I figure if I grab this, go with 2 or 3 fish and a few pcs. of coral I can maintain it well enough. Thoughts guys?
24 Gallon, 150W HQI Metal Halide System - Includes: Surface skimming filtration system, 1-14000°K HQI Metal Halide light, 6 blue and 6 white LED lights, cooling fan, mechanical sponge filter, 290 gph submersible pump with flat nozzle, and complete instructions. |

I had relative success with a 24 aquapod. It did however require more immediate attention to maintence than my larger reef. I did bi-weekly water changes and made sure the parameters were good. I was able to keep most lps, zoa's, leathers, with just the stock lighting.
