changing salt mix
I am currently using reef crystals. I started dosing with purple-up about a month ago and see no difference in my calcium reading. When I tested it today it was about 380. I was just thinking of just switching to seachem. I want a salt mix without adding anything to it and the numbers posted by seachem seem about the best. Opinions?

I use Instant Ocean and brought up my calcium, alk, and mag using the instructions found on this post by capn_hylinur.
Following his advice is working great for me so far. I think no matter what salt you use, you still may have to supplement if you have a lot of corals. http://reefcentral.com/forums/showth...6#post12882546
