Skimmer test. Why this kind of outcome??
I wanted to test 2 different type of skimmers side by side on the same system. The types used was a EV240 (spray) and the ASM G3.. Boath was set to the dry side. To do a good test I took 2 drops of each skimmate. the rest of the volume was RO/DI water to complete the test
Resaults G3 EV240 phos .00 .00 Nitrates 10 25 Nitrites 15 .05 Amonia 20 10 TDS 453 507 I am just woundering if HSA ( becketts, downdrafts) pull different types of gunk out and why compaired to needlewheel??
