how many parts vinegar to water for a 325 gal tank?

i have a 325 gallon tank that im trying to clean with dried algae how many parts vinegar to water should i use for this tank?

I use straight, works the fastest

wont 325 gallons of vinegar cost a heap? i havent even gone to see prices on that stuff yet. cuz dont u want to soak the aquarium in vinegar?

Just wipe it down, soften up the algae and use a razor blade. 2 hours tops to clean it up.

X2. I did this a little while ago with great success after reading of this procedure on earlier posts. It will take a while since you have a large tank, but with some elbow grease and straight vinegar you should have a great looking tank when finished.

Get a small spray bottle from the Target $1 section. Fill it with distilled white vinegar, $2-3, and spray down all the glass starting at the top. Let it sit for a while (20mins to 1/2 hour) then scrape the glass with a razor. Be careful along the silicone edges as they get pretty soft. After you razor the whole thing rinse it out well with water and you're set!

thanks for tips.. but what can i use if my tank is acrylic to scrape?

You can use a credit card to scrape it. Another peice of acrylic will also work.

I have often used a credit card for cleaning my sumps and other acrylic pieces. It's worked well for me over the years.
