Question stream 6080 starts and stops

Hi there,,,today my stream 6080 is starting and stopping in one minute intervals "cant figure it out" clean shaft put no difference

i`m going to give it another cleaning with vinegar ,,, but i`m just wondering is this common behavior i thought there was an alarm

The alarm option only available on controllable series. Clean it again, make sure you remove the rear bushing....

Check the bearing but it sounds to me like the pump overheated and thermal switch is broken so it is switching on and off every minute or so. It could be that it is right at the point of overheat and cools and turns back on.

Thats what i was thinking,, but i took the pump out of the water fast and removed the impeller to feel i there was any heat in the chamber but it was very cool,,,,, i hope its not a dodge thermal sensor as this is in the sealed unit and i would say its unfixable !!

Yes, it cannot be fixed, the motor portion 6080.015 would have to be replaced.
