????With lighting

I just pick up a nice light for my new tank It Is a Coralife Power Compact 24" 65W/65W (Actinic/10K) I dont have a timer yet I will be getting one soon...My tank has been up for about a week and I have about 20lbs of live rock a skimmer and a couple damsels In there now. I dont know how to set up my lighting situation. I plan on putting just a bunch of coral In there no fish really. What Is the best way to set up my timers...????

first of all, make sure you are done cycling first before you add anything, otherwise, they will just end up dead.

I know Im not In any rush to put anything In there any time soon I was going to wait 5 more weeks then start testing my water and start adding things to It. There is two bulbs....so I should turn on the light (blue light) first for a half hour then turn on both lights all day then turn just the blue light back on for a half hour and turn them both off for the night????

your lighting plan sounds fine, but final lighting needs will depend on the types of corals you ultimately put in the tank. The light fixture you have will suffice for soft corals and maybe a few LPS, so if that's what you're hoping to keep you should do fine.

I'd question adding fish to the tank this early for any reason, though. Who steered you into adding the damsels to a week old setup?
