Stuck at home, so it is picture time

And since I can't do much I decided to actually read the manual for may camera, and play around with it a bit. Here are the results.

Will start off with a few FTS, learned that I can adjust the output of the flash, which is needed with FTS -- at least with my tank.

From the right,

Left angel,

Head on,

BTW -- the tank is an Oceanic 58 gallon --- reef ready. Have a 20 gallon sump with an ASM 1GX. Run a bag of carbon in the sump. There is a very tiny fuge, right now just a couple of pieces of live rock, and some yellow polyps. Also running a phosban reactor.

As for fish, I have a pair of pink skunk clowns, a Potter's angel, and a figi golden algae blenny.

Here is all four of them together,

A close up of the blenny, next to my green digi,

The pink skunk pair, in their blue Haddoni,

The female skunk getting annoyed with me.

A goofy picture of my Potter's -- its eye is fine, it is just looking all the way left.

Looks great.

How old is the Potter's Angel and any nipping problems?

Thanks Sean. I have had the Potter's since January, and have yet to notice it picking on anything -- besides the rocks all day long.

And now for some side shots. These aren't as in focus as I would like, but there isn't a whole lot of room on either side of the tank -- a floor standing speaker on one side, and a wall on the other.

From the left side,

From the right,

A couple more from the right, at different angels, and zoom.

Thanks, I have had it for about 2 years now. Darn near killed it trying to move it from my 75 to this tank. Its foot was stuck to the bottom, and I didn't realize that my finger had gone through it trying to get it to release. Wish I had taken a picture of how bad it looked. Lets just say if I had been going out of town I would have pulled it. But, lucky enough I was around that whole weekend. It took about 2 weeks, but it made a full recovery.

Thanks a lot. Here is a better one ( albeit older ) picture of the green one. Where it is at makes it hard to get non top-down shots of it.

Nope. Diver's Den of LA. ( same with the blue Haddoni ), I was actually in the hospital the day it came (( unexpected infection after knee surgery )). Had to have my dad go to my place and acclimate the angel -- needless to say I was a little nervous.

But, the green Haddoni did come from LSA, was there getting food one day, and I had to take it home.

Thanks, I am really happy with the tank, though my one milli is getting a bit big. Love the size of a 58.

Awesome tank, I love all the sticks. Everything looks very happy and healthy. You can send me anything that is too big for you to keep(SPS corals that is)LOL. Keep up the great job. How about a pic with no flash? Thank you for sharing.

Here is what you asked for. It is a little bit brighter in real life.

And since the camera was out....

Took a bunch of new top down shots, but still have to upload them.

Thanks a lot. I love the potter's, and it is a pig, pretty much eats anything I put in the tank.

Thanks, glad I got this camera a couple of months ago. The only thing it took out was a Mandarin -- which I had a feeling might happen. They were fine together for about 8 months. And the shame of it was that it was eating prepared foods. That and a yellow watchman goby are the only fish that I have lost in my 9+ years of having Haddonis.

Me too, just wish I could get to appear exactly like it does in real life, but 20K bulbs are a killer for white balance on a camera.

Here are a few top down shots that I took

Fairly large milli, I would say about 6-7 inches across.

Green cap, about the same size as the milli,

The green one in this picture had fallen on its side, I never got around to straightening it, so it decided to grow up.

Then a head on one of my clam, not happy where it is, but it is attached to the rock, and seems happy.

Awesome tank, Toddrtrex. Not that the corals, nems and fish aren't beautiful, but I gotta compliment you on the coralline on the rocks. You have some really beautiful pieces there. What kind of calcium/alk supplementation do you use?

Thanks, I pride myself on keeping it clean. I do weekly 5 gallon water changes ( at least most of the time )

Thanks a lot. I was really pleased with the rock when it came in -- got it from Foster and Smith, and cured it in a rubbermaid for a month, and did water changes while it was curing.

I keep my Cal right around 420, Alk at 3 ( meg/l ) I dose C-balance each night, and drip Kalk ( though it is a weak solution, mainly do it as a poor mans auto top off ). The Mag is right around 1350, once in a blue moon I have to add some Kent's Tech M, but TM Pro salt has good levels of it.

Got some more top downs, these were taken with a flash ( though not full strength, think it was about 50% )

Birdsnest, Tri-color, green digi, and part of my green Haddoni,

5 in one shot.

Milli and cap.

And the right side of the tank, you can see the light pushed way off to the side in the upper left corner.
