Skimmer pump suggestions

I had the power head die on my in sump skimmer and I put another power head that fit the hole but it doesn't move the water enough to even draw a venturi for the bubbles.

I need a suggestion of what pump I should use here.

I use a MJ900 to feed my Turboflotor 1000 skimmer.
