I am wondering what is the best ay to clean filter sock?

I wash in machine with Oxi-clean Its sodium carbonite. Cleans well no bleach or detergents.

I soak in 1/10 bleach overnight then hose it off. All of the remaining bleach residue will be gone once the socks are dry.

Machine wash with bleach with an extra rinse cycle, let air dry.

2 of mine are in the washer right now. I use a little soap and then air dry them.

I place my dirty filter socks in a five gallon bucket with a strong bleach to water mix. They are in there until I run through about seven or eight of them. Then, a few good rinses with cold water, air-dry on the clothes line, and they're ready for service. There's no way I'm dumping bleach in my washer, and consequently down to my septic system (although that may be fine for you folks on city water systems)!
