I love the island effect. When I re-did my 75g thats what i tried to do. As seen below the "island" look didnt really work out for me, but I still like how it came out. This picture is quite old, but for rockwork purposes, I'm sure it'll do.

Me too trust me. Makes it much easier to keep it nice and clean. I really do need to get a clean up crew though...haha. Right now I just have a sea hair and a sand sifting sea star. The sea star is a little too big to get in all the places he needs to though.

Mines empty for now but will soon be filled up. This is actually a 2+ year old tank stray voltage of all things wiped it out.

Far from showing off, but you did ask for pics of a bowfront. Don't you wish there is a"Bowfront Club" ?

First pic was taken this July, second in August right after all the acros and fish were transferred. I preferred the low profile/minimal look of the first attempt, but I was too lazy to chop off the encrusting acros, therefore the final product in the second picture is a bit cluttered IMO. I may still add a thin layer of sand after all.

I ran a vote on a local reef site to see what people liked for three versions of base rock, my family liked this one. They won. Please excuse the Algae - its mostly gone now. Tanks is 120 4x2x2 and the rockwork is "w" shaped when looking from above.
