Mantis Shrimp?

Hey everyone,
So occasionally I will hear a click from my tank. Sounds like glass hitting glass. I got my rock from two people about 10 months ago. One of the peoples rock I let sit in a vat of saltwater for a week at like 60 degrees and there was a lot of die off. I put it in my tank and it started curing. The other guys rock had come from his reef tank that was like 4 years old. This makes it hard for me to think a mantis is in my tank but i suppose its not impossible. I have never lost anything unexplained. For every death there is a reason. Do you think I have a mantis. It has been happening since I put the rock in a 20 gallon for holding and then into my new 70 gallon. Any advice would be appreciated.

What kind of power heads do you have? How often do you hear the clicking?

Jojoyojimbi's response +1: IMO it's likely a pistol shrimp.
