Help with light set ups
My master, show me the light
I am looking for a light setup that will have a clean looking instale and allow me to grow anything in this tank I want to. The tank will have no canopy and the lights will either hang down from the ceiling or be on legs. About the tank its a standard 210 gallon tank. 6ft long 24 wide front to back 29 1/2 depth I have had it resealed and a glass brace added to the middle of the tank for extra support. The brace is 3/8ths inches glass and is about 24 innches long. I do understand (correct me please if I am wrong) that Metal halides are the way to go for a tank this size and with what all I want to put in it with time. What if anything do I need to pair up with the MH's? Any lights that are better then others? Do I need one long light strip or 2 or 3 little strips? Will light go thru that brace or not? Thanks in advance Any links to a exact model would great. Or just some opions would be nice ![]() |
