BOTH heaters failed, tank dropped to 71*......
Came downstairs this morning and did the normal inspect the tank move and noticed my temp was at 71*! I opened up the sump and both heaters were off, they are less than 7 months old.... If it was 71* when I checked it easily got to 69* or less during the night. I already bought 2 more heaters and put them in and slowly bringing it back up to temp. I always used 2 smaller heaters instead of a bigger one incase one failed I have a better chance of not getting overheated or too cold, but both failed

Sorry to hear about the heaters. Do you have any ideas WHY they might have both failed? Is it an electrical problem or a controller issue? Or is it one of those Murphy's Law kinda of things?
Hope the new ones work out well. Zac

Honestly I have no idea, there is no way they could have been exposed to air, they are plugged into the same strip as my PH's and pumps which are fine.
