good idea or a waste of time????
When i have a fish in qt after lights out i cover the top and front glass with a towel to darken out the tank from the room lights, tv light and computer screen light..(back and sides are permantely blacked out already)
is this a good idea, a bad idea, or does it make any diffrence at all.. |

do you have a peice of pvc or something else in the tank for him to hide in? If so I would say it's a waste of time as you put it. If he's stressed he can go into the pvc.

I have some rock formations (fake) for hidding....infact its lego style meaning i can take it apart and put it back together in various shapes/forms/size caves/overhangs ect to fit the particular fish also have a couple small chuncks of real live rock in the tank... basicly what iam using the tank for is to fatten up my scribbled adter a long bout of one problem after another..she is well now just needs to fatten up
i would like to find a larger version of this puzzle fake rock i would love to design a display tank using it and move the live rock to the sump.. i picked this fake rock formation up at a garage sale years ago in a box of fish "stuff" for 1 buck and its the only thing i actually kept out of the box except an air pump which is still going strong...but i boiled the holly crap out of it |
