What is the best most silent drain for a 75 gallon with a corner overflow?
Simple question. I now have a basement sump and the stand pipe is quite loud. It seems to flush every couple of minutes. Any help would be greatful!

I only have a single stand pipe to drain to basement sump. It seems to me that both of the mentioned designs require plumbing that i cannot support.

Doesn't yout tank have something like a 3/4" return and a 1" drain in that overflow? In that case, you can plumb your return over the back of the tank, and use the 3/4" as a 'siphon' line and the 1" as the 'openchannel/backup line'. The 'three pipe' method linked to above is overkill and mostly designed for having a shallow overflow. If you have a 'full height' overflow, the 2-pipe method is plenty.
