Question Multiple angels (dwarf)?

Hello all, just wanted to ask is there a way or technique to put multiple angels in a tank. now i know the whole thing about angels fighting and stuff but have heard success stories but forgot to jot the technique down :/ I was thinking of maybe 2 or 3 in a 58 gal. Still in the planning stages so don't worry they are still at the LFS I was thinking though:

1. buy all angels then QT (will be separated by eggcrate) and then add simultaneously to tank

LMK what ya'll think or maybe i should just abandon this.

P.S. want to get attention to this thread so it is posted on another forum (reef fishes) if you see it pick which one you want to post in

TIA Wiz

I will post all details if needed

Not terribly experienced with this, but I do know that it's best to turn the lights off when you add a new fish, and if it's two angels, probably add at the same time.

I used to have 2 in a 30 gallon. A midnight pygmy and a heraldi pygmy. I got them from the same place, at the same time, and added the same time. I just acclimated then, turned the lights off, and let them find their own space. Granted, they were the only fish in there, so they didn't have to compete with fish that already had territories if that makes a difference.

If it's what you want don't give up, just do alot of research. That's the key.

I think three might be pushing it in that size of tank, but two will probably work provided you don't get a particularly antagonistic individual. There are a few things that you can do to increase your chance of success. Definitely introduce them at the same time so you aren't dealing with established territories. Make sure you have plenty of hiding places in your live rock. Established live rock will help because of the grazing it provides. Also, make sure you feed often/well. Not enough to pollute your tank, but enough so they don't feel they have to compete for enough food to survive. A well fed fish is a less aggressive fish. Good luck!

IMO 2 dwarf angels are to much @ 58G.
I have two (Bi-Color & Flame) @ 105G with lots of live rock and they still become somewhat terittorial.

I have three in a 180 and I plan on adding another this week. So far it's working out, sometimes the flame angel chases the coral beauty or potter angel out of his side of the tank, but it rarely comes to violence.

And yes, at this point I've almost completely written off ever keeping clams.

Want to thank everyone for their advice and opinions, though i know 3 is a little much for my little 58 but i would still like to go with that route and will keep up with heavy skimming and waterchanges. Also forgot to mention that they are pretty much the only ones in the tank. Right now i'm thinking of going my route of:

Buy all angels and QT together (separated by eggcrate) allowing visible contact and if some still decide to fight back to the LFS they go until everything is smooth. then acclimate to the tank together with the lights off.

Also don't worry about care, i got them and plenty of food to go with it
