I am in a tight spot.

I have a 60g hex tank with a 15g being used as a sump/refugium. I only have a 9x8 area for my skimmer. I currently have an Aqua C Urchin Pro that does ok.. I would like a better skimmer, however I might not be able to find something that will fit. A HOB skimmer wont work for my situation. There seems to be a lot of knowledgeable people on here so I am looking for some ideas.
thanks

I like the Tunze skimmers, they have a small foot print and have worked well for me. just my 2 cents.

Tunze would be the best choice,ER RS 80 ,ASM mini-G can also fit in there too.

I have heard good things about the Bubble King mini. I will be getting one for my new 40 gal. tank. It fits 7" x 7" area. The only down side is the price.

Tunze skimmers do rock for their size.

Thanks for the imput everyone. I have been thinking about a Tunze. I will have to research them some. I have heard that they can be touchy and hard to dial in. Keep the ideas coming. ...

That Bubble King Mini would be nice but like you said it is pricey. I might look on here for one that is used. I couldn't find an ATB that would fit. Do they make one? I haven't heard many good things about the ASM mini-G. I guess the pump that comes with the mini G has lots of problems.

Mini-G use gen-x 1500 rated at 200gph I think,you can always upgraded to sedra 2500,the whole new skimmer cost around 120 to 150 depend on seller,Tunze 9002 around 160.
