Trying to set up my Tunze wave box! No directions!!!
Well I bought a used Tunze wavebox and dont have any directions. I hear they are in German anyways lol. Any advice on setting it up? The previous owner had it on a rimless tank so I switched the brackets around for my nonrimless tank.
My question is how do I set it up??? How high/deep does the wavebox need to be? Do I just plug it in? I figured I would just turn it on full power, plug it in, then adjust the frequency until it looks about right for my 4 foot 120 gallon. Also is there anything I need to chance in my RR overflow boxes to adjust to this sort of wave madness!! lol. Any info would be great! Thanks |

Try this!
http://www.tunze.com/149.html?&L=1&C=NL&user_tunzeprod_pi1[predid]=-infoxunter016 The RC link thing doesn't seem to work but if you copy and paste into a new browser, this works fine.

For a 4ft tank it is pretty easy, set the pulse to as quick as possible and it will be very close to optimum.

Actually since it's a 4 foot 120 you shouldn't have to adjust it at all. Since you got it from me and that's what I had There is a water level indicator on the front of the wavebox, it might be semi faded by now but it's there. Shoot me a call if you have any questions. I tinkered with it for a week and then just left it. Just give it a few minutes before adjustments to let the adjustment pan out. You can use a piece of electric tape on the front pane to measure the height of the wave between adjustments to figure out optimum.
