Sump Frag Tank ?'s
So, due to getting a new larger skimmer that will have to be plumbed outside my sump, I have some extra room. My sump is under my 120 and is a 40 gallon breeder... water depth in the area I would be working with will be no deeper than 12" max. I will have some type of power head in here to help with flow as well. At this point I'm still in the planning stages. The major question I have that I would like to have answered is...
What type of lighting would be the best bet? I'm looking for something cost effective, but still bright enough to maintain color and growth. |

I plan on doing this with my 90g BB tank. It has a small space for a fuge but I plan on clipping on a viper MH 150w for sps frags.

I looked at this solution and determined that I wanted all of the water volume in my sump in case the return pump power goes out. I need as many as 10 gallons of space until the tank stops overflowing.
