need ideas on 55g
i have a 55g tank that i want to set up but i do not know what would be a good set up for it. I want to have it as a display having some different corals and fish. so can any one post pics of your 55 and mabey some equipment info.

When I first setup my 55g April 2008
Now: Sump: I would highly highly highly suggest a skimmer. |

thx for the pics. i saw a video of a guy who had a skimmerless tank for 10years. i will try to post a link....http://www.reefvideos.com/ and look for Andreas skimmerless 72g. its a nice tank for no skimmer.
(keep posting those 55g gallon tanks.) |

get a skimmer. for my 55g im looking at an octopus nw-150 or a vertex IN-100 (waiting for a little to see if the vertex would be a better shot). The octo only costs ~160 and the vertex ~200. the guy that went skimmerless for 10years probably had a lot of experience under his belt. good luck
