400W bulb choice
I have a 150g SPS and LPS tank. I currently am running 2 Radium bulbs with a PFO HQI ballast. With no other lighting. It is time to replace my bulbs. Which ones should I buy and from where?

How is your growth with the Radium bulbs? I have liked those bulbs when I have used them before. If you want more growth, you may have to drop down in Kelvin to a 10K. The only draw back is that it will eliminate the actinic color you get now and appear more as a straight white. The Ushio 400 watt 10K would be a good choice with that ballast and would give you more growth.

I have had OK growth with the radiums. I think it was not as good as it could be because I had a nitrate problem. Water quality is better now.
If I were to add some supplemental lighting what would you recommend as supplement lighting and main MH bulb. Kevin |
