hmm..looking to add Actinic lighting to 30 gal hex

hi all

I have a 30 gal hex right now with a 150w (14k) clamp on MH light about 6" from the water surface, with a white eggcrate top (have 2 gobies).

This is an old pic when I was just starting to build up the reef but the lighting is accurate...

I'd like to add some actinic lighting to improve my corals appearance but of course my options are limited because I have a hex.

The closest I've come is the Mini Aqualight Coralife 9" nano light which has a protective, acrylic cover but comes with a specific warning that it is meant to be on a covered aquarium. I guess I'm trying to rationalize how it might work on top of eggcrate....any thoughts?

Has anyone seen any clamp on Actinics or have any other creative ideas?
