Please help, I need 3/16 size zoa's and bigger!!
I just picked up my first, thank you very much, zoa frag. Althought it is brownish red (not so attractive) in color, it has polyps 3/16th's in size, average. Because of the size, i really like them. I can see them without my glasses and enjoy them from across the room. I have looked at a few Zoa's in person and many online. Fact is, you just cant tell what you are getting until you get them. Well, I do not want a tank full of tiny pin dotted Zoa's, well, not yet. I want the bigger 3/16th variety but not much larger than small paly's.
Those that have the bigger ones or know of the names or links of bigger ones, can you please tell me what they are so I can look at them and maybe buy some online somewhere? Thanks. |

Are you trying to say 3/4 cause 3/16 is very very tiny. People Eaters a.k.a zoanthus gigantus all get pretty big nickel to quarter size. Two varietys of mine are a little bigger than quarters.

I will check out the site, thanks Guygettnby, but, how do I know how big they are in a picture? thats kind of the problem i am having now. I need some verification from people as to what is the size of a large pea.
3/16th's very tinyy to you? Hmmm.... Well, I am looking for something the size of a big pea. I dont want them monsterous, well, maybe one or two variety, but, I like the dotted look, and, like I said, not too much smaller than a big pea but the other end of the scale........ ![]() |

there are so many different zoas/paly out there it is kinda hard to pic certain ones. i guess i could give you a few of my favorites.
Nuclear green AoG Purple deaths Purple people eater whammin watermelons eagle eyes Armogedon thats just a few that i have or have owned that i really liked, most of them are on the larger size. i guess it also depends on wether or not you get babies or adult polyps. |

Hey all, I got some of these Thursday http://www.zoaid.com/index.php?modul...&g2_itemId=381
Not sure if thats the right description for them, but, they are as close to as what I have found on zoaid.com . These are about the size of your pinky in diameter, as big as i want to go for the general comsumption, lol. Next is a set of big "cherry bomb" palys and then back to the pea sized veriaty. Sweeet, i am addicted = $$$ ![]() ![]() |
