Yellow polyps & Colt Coral
I have a rock with yellow polys type zoas that are spreading across a LR pretty rapidly. They are now coming up on my large Colt coral attached in middle of LR, my question is will the Yellow Polys just work their way around the base of the Colt coral or could this potentially harm Colt Coral?

The colt should hold it's own and the polyps will go around.

I agree--as long as the polpys don't start growing up the stem of the colt coral.

The colt should have pretty good defense towards being overtaken, but like capn says if you see them growing up the stalk I'd start manual removal of the polyps.

I have yellow polyps grow right around a leather i have in my tank. I did observe them and still do to make sure they don't go up the stalk, and nothing for about 6-9 months now, so I am not worried. It looks nice too! I don't think you will run into a problem.
