Who is using the Hagen GLO T5 HO fixtures?

http://www.petsmart.com/product/inde...ductId=3060842 Im using a 24W, 18K bulb Its pretty much the only thing sold in any aquatic store in my area so I thought id give it a shot. Its a nice piece of equipment, but I know its not enough to do what I want as far as corals. There is a dual 24" model that i can get for around 150 + bulbs. There is also a retrofit kit that would be fine when I build the canopy. Ive been screwed on online purchases so many times that I am trying to stay local...in the long run its cheaper. Who is using them and what do you think?

I had the 48" retrofit kit and got it for around $120 with bulbs and reflectors and of course the ballast. I was very pleased with it, i also only used it for supplmentaion for my metal halides, but still i thought it was a very nice set-up

I use a 36" unit in a canopy for actinics. I got it for $90 at Petsmart. It does what i wanted it to do with no problems.

I had the 36in over a fifty gallon breeder with fresh water live plants that's what the best for i wouldn't use them for a reef
