Lighting for 33gal cube
What would you guys recommend for lighting a reef tank in a 33 gallon cube. The tank is 20" l x 18" w x 23 h. I hope to keep few sps with mostly lps.
I was planning on using a 150w HQI metal halide (10 or 12 K)with 2 24w t5 HO (actinic+, aquablue+ OR one of each). Would this be adequate for this size tank or how would you recommend altering this light setup? I also considered a 70w HQI metal halide with same or more t5's. Recommendations? |

My recommendation:
Luminarc 3 Mini Pandant Iwasaki 175w MH Bulb (14k) 2x 24w t5's of your choice Don't bother wasting your money on the 70w MH. You won't be impressed.
