Question Is it possible ?

Is it possible that amphipods ''ate'' my little polyps ?
I bought a coral last week , and the guy gave me a little rock with 2-3 polyps on it .
Then , the night I bought my corals , I looked at the tank with a flashlight , when the lights where out, and I saw a lot of amphipods on my polyps . The next day , I couldn't see any polyps .

Is it possible ?

BTW , the only fishes that I have right now are 2 clownfishes .

Thanks

Eh, I doubt they'd knock them out overnight. Can you get a picture of where the polyps used to be? Could be an acclimation issue, or maybe another pest. Usually pods remain scavengers and don't become active aggressors.
