SPG - What do YOU target?

I see a lot of people target different salinities in their systems. Randy Holmes-Farley recommends targeting 1.0264 (35ppt) to match natural sea water as closely as possible - advice which I've always followed.

However, I see a lot of people run their systems lower than this. I've tested the water from local reef-specialty shops, and I've seen them run their reef systems as low as 1.021 with excellent results. Also, I've seen a few people running 1.027 and higher.

Question
What SPG do you target in YOUR systems, and why?

I run my tank @ 1.025. If your tank is a "fish-only" tank, I think you are safe dropping the salinity a little lower.

1.024 - 1.026 depending on evaporation (still waiting for the ATO)

Typically I keep it at 1.025

i keep mine at 1.023 which is half way between the two places i get my live stock from. the coral farm here in ohio keeps their system around 1.020 (sometimes even lower) and phishybuisness usually keeps their systems between 1.024-1025
