Growth shots of cloves over just 10 days, stellar growth!

I bought a single head of neon green centered cloves awhile back. The growth in my display fuge is spectacular! I am averaging a head every 2 days. Makes GSP look like the slowest grower ever. A few days after purchase, the 1 head grew a runner than ran up the glass. I cut it off as well as the original head and mounted it to this uber custom aquamend frag disk haha. Sorry it is my only starting photo.

In the last pic, I purchased a single head of flaming orange clove just over a week ago, it sprouted 3 runners in just 7 days! 3 little bumps which will be new cloves are starting to be visible already. So in short, they really dig my tank as I have never had anything grow at this rate. It is practically outrunning my cheato haha.

I will post follow up pics in another 10 days.

1st pic after some growth

2nd pic 10 days later

Here is the new flaming orange I purchased with the 3 runners.

Wow, it's always exciting to see a new frag really take off like that.

Some updates

The neon green ones have slowed growth wise & part of the string of them died off / melted away for no apparent reason but the die off has stopped and it is starting to grow again.

Remember BOTH started out as a SINGLE head!

The flame cloves took off like wildfire. I put a rock next to the flame cloves and they are jumping into the rock. Anyways enjoy the growth pics and remember BOTH started out as a SINGLE head!

I've noticed similar growth with my neon greens. I would guess somewhere in the neighborhood of 7-10 new heads every two days. I started with more than one polyp though ... so its hard to compare growth, but they grow like wildfire.

Keeping it on isolated rocks, not to worried about it jumping. Never had an issue with GSP either *LOL*

I have both types also and get the same results. the flame is moving like a weed and the green does marginally well but seems to go in cycles.
