blue LED strip lights
Why can't the low wattage blue LED sold at Lowes/Home Depot in the christmas lighting area be used for a moon light effect? They come in 50 Led's/16' and dissipate very little power but thes LED & operating cost is very low. Thanks, Jim

as long as they are outdoor lights i dont see the problem other then trying to place 50LEDs in your canopy...i am not sure you can cut the strings to make them shorter or not...i dont know how they are wired..

The lights are indoor/outdoor and the bulbs are oon 4" centers. In my case I would have two 70" runs which would have the lamps @ a 2 3/4" center thereby having the wire 'wrap back 5/8" (to allow for the excess wire). There would be two splices (running acroos the tank width once). Unless I hear otherwise, I'll try out a set. Thanks, Jim
