Does Probe ever get bad?

I was wanting to know if Probe ever goes bad. I bought this probe titanium 3 months ago and now it has some calcium deposits (white color) which i scratched it off and only a little part shows the titanium and most part looks they are rusted.

Not sure if they still works.

I did have a heater break where the probe was sitting together in the refugium. So am not sure if the heater breaking and my breaker going off made the probe to get corrupted that fast.

Sorry I am talking about Ground Probe.
