phosphate reactor lower PH

I just recently installed a phosphate reactor and I notice my PH dropping is this common and if so do I put less remover in or just slow down the flow, I currently have a 150 gallon and I put in a little over a 125 grams in.

how are you measuring pH and what are the values?
