i have just purchased a 150 gallon tank can anyone give me advice on any modifications that i should do before i finally press the tank up against the wall and fill it.

Don't prsss it up to the wall is my advice. I was going to do that but the person that was helping me suggested backing off like 4 inches for easy access to any cords running in back. That and like Eric is asking if you have a sump or even a canister you will have plumming going through the back as well.

you will need at least 7 or 8 inches from the wall...look at my build...with the overflow and all that plumbing....its good to be able to at least lay down and reach back there....it also gives you room for things like you reactors in the back or something...just a thought....can cool your a firefighter i am trying to become one.
