Algae: Looks like green hair
It seems I was looking at my fish tank earlier today and it seems like it had green algae that looked like hair all over the glass. Is it from the nutrients in the water? I am not understanding what is going on in the fish tank. I did a water change today and I am hoping for the best. I only have one fish in a 70 gallon tank and is it possible he could cause that? I was wondering if a reugium would help me out with this?

it depends on what you added to your tank lately. check your nitrate level first. what is about the feeding habit. did you change your feeding lately. the third thing I would ask you is how long do you have your bulbs? its spec is about 9 months, and old ones need to be replaced.
